The Affordable Art Fair 2009

AAF NYC is the place for new and established collectors to discover and buy paintings, drawings, sculptures, video, photography and limited edition prints from distinguished galleries, all priced from $100 - $10,000. This year the Fair will host more than 60 galleries from the US, Europe, Asia, Canada and South America. Please note that there will be no admission to the fair 20 minutes prior to closing.

$15 - Student/Senior (Valid ID required)
$10 - Group Rate (Group of 10 or more)
Children 12 and under - Free during Public Fair Hours

May 10th is Mother's day - Children 12 and under get their Mothers in FREE!

Claire's Creative Adventures provides an interactive art studio experience for children 3 to 12 years old, while their parents enjoy the Fair.

Created by professional artist, Claire Munday, the Children's Art Studio provides a fun and educational environment for young art lovers utilizing modern and contemporary art as a reference point. Classes will be held Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Programs include: Line and Shape Design inspired by Ellsworth Kelly, Patrick Heron and Mondrian; Vertical Art: Collaborative Group Murals; Famous Artist Coloring Station and a Jim Dine Hammering Station.
In addition, special Mother's Day programs include: Sculptural Roses for Mom and Me, Myself and I Pop Art Prints where children create a homage to their mother
